Our Values
Worship
The gospel invites us to worship God by enjoying the new life that we have in Christ. God seeks our worship, not primarily to receive something from us, but moreso to give something to us – namely Himself! As such, worship is the central act of the church. But worship isn’t just what happens at church on Sundays, but worship happens in all of life. Worship is our common calling to glorify God and enjoy Him in every aspect of life.
Community
The gospel creates a new community of brothers and sisters in Christ, who are called to truly know one another and fully love one another. This kind of community bridges across all kinds of divides and is to be marked by commitment, humility, grace, and hospitality. Such a community is never just found, but it is always built.
Discipleship
The gospel leads us to engage with discipleship by helping others mature in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit as we share life together. As we walk with Jesus in our everyday lives, we invite others to walk with us.
Witness
The gospel compels us to serve as witnesses by loving our neighbors in both word and deed. We share the joy that we have in Christ with others by seeking to meet both their spiritual needs as well as their material needs. In our witness, we engage with both ministries of evangelism as well as with ministries of mercy.
Renewal
The gospel secures renewal for all of creation and calls us to seek the holistic flourishing of our neighbors, the nations, and the next generation. As such, we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring about such renewal and we strategically partner with other local churches and organizations to seek the common good.
