2027 Retreat Volunteers

As we are preparing for our upcoming all-church retreat in January, we are looking for volunteers to help with retreat planning. Roots Ministry (September 18)

Roots Ministry is set to meet on Friday, September 18, at LA High at 7:00 PM. If you’re unfamiliar with Roots, this ministry is an open space for anyone outside the college lifestage to meet one another and grow together in Christ. For this month, we’ll be discussing current events and how to navigate what’s going on in the world as Christians.

Now that summer is over, we’ll have dinner provided again! To get a headcount for food, please RSVP by going to tinyurl.com/FCRoots918. We also ask that any SALT college students who will be coming for SALT on that Friday to also sign up so that we can have an accurate headcount for food. Thank you!

Windsor Gardens Visitation (September 26)

Outreach Ministry is organizing another visit to Windsor Gardens Convalescent Hospital on Saturday, September 26, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We’ll be having a time of worship and small group discussions with the residents to hear about their lives as well as preparing lunch for them. We were notified that many residents have passed away last month. And so, we hope that we can bring some encouragement to them with our visit.

Winter Bowl 2026

We are taking sign-ups for the upcoming Winter Bowl in November. Winter Bowl is a flag football tournament held amongst various local churches. We are once again aiming to form both a men’s team as well as a women’s team. Practices will start in September!
