MinistrY HIGHLIGHTS

Campus Ministry

SOON Movement Global reaches college students across three Bay Area campuses: UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, and San José State University. The focus is on reaching students with the Gospel and equipping them to live as Spirit-filled disciples. By training students in evangelism and discipleship, the vision is to see spiritual movements established on every campus through the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to send students out after graduation to continue fulfilling the mission to Win, Build, and Send in their workplaces and communities.

Summer Missions

Each summer, college students are led on mission teams in partnership with overseas ministries to reach other students around the world. These trips are centered on the Great Commission and rooted in the belief that God uniquely uses college students to reach their peers across cultures and nations. Previous mission work has included Southeast Asia, Thailand, Japan, and Bangladesh, with lasting impact seen both among those reached and in the students who are sent.

National Publications

In addition to his campus and missions work, Rony launched SOON’s National Publications ministry to document and communicate how God is moving across campuses, regions, and nations through media and emerging technology. Through media and storytelling, the goal is to connect students, alumni, and supporters to the larger work God is doing by highlighting the transformative power of the Gospel on campuses and beyond.
